Oklahoma courthouse evacuated after threat made to sheriff’s department

HOLDENVILLE, Okla. – A local courthouse has been evacuated as a precaution after authorities say they received a threat on Tuesday morning.

According to Hughes County Emergency Manager John Roberts, a threat was called in to the Hughes County Sheriff’s Department.

The Hughes County courthouse was evacuated as a precaution.

Roberts says the Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s bomb squad is en route to search the building.
