An Oklahoma doctor is in trouble for not paying child support.

A judge ordered the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure to revoke Doctor Scott Pace’s medical license over the weekend.

The Department of Human Services tells us that he owes 20-thousand dollars in child support.

Board Direct Lyle Kelsey said this will really affect him career-wise.

“It’s a significant issue to their profession.” said Kelsey. “They can’t practice, so they’re put on notice. They have to notify all the hospitals if they practice there – their patients, they can’t see patients.”

Kelsey said when Pace works out a payment deal or pays in full, a judge can re-instate Pace’s medical license.
