OKLAHOMA CITY –  Oklahoma PIKEPASS customers can use PIKEPASS on Kansas toll roads starting Nov. 1.

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority signed off on an agreement with the Kansas Turnpike authority.

“We are excited to announce that PIKEPASS customers will be able to use their transponders in Kansas,” said Tim Stewart, OTA director. “This added accommodation is an example of how we continually listen to our customers and provide innovative ways to make turnpike travel faster, safer and easier.”

The Kansas Turnpike Authority operates a single toll road from the Kansas-Oklahoma border into the Kansas City, Kansas area.

This stretch of interstate is I-35 in Kansas.

KTA customers will have the same convenience of travel on all Oklahoma turnpikes.

Although customers should only need one transponder, users who have both a K-Tag and PIKEPASS should call to determine if one or two accounts work best.

Due to the potential of being billed on both accounts for the same trip, OTA recommends users call PIKEPASS Customer Service at 1-800-PIKEPAS (1-800-745-3727) or KTA Customer Service at 1-800-USE-KTAG (1-800-873-5824) to determine the needs of the individual driver.

The customer’s PIKEPASS account must be in good standing to qualify for interoperability on KTA toll roads.
