ADAIR, Okla. - Three kids are recovering in a Tulsa hospital after being severely injured in a church bus crash in Adair Monday afternoon.

Members from the Fresh Fire Outreach Church out of Shawnee were heading to a youth camp in Branson, Missouri when their bus rolled over.

Church leaders say it's a miracle everyone survived.

"We had angels on every side of that van," said Eliza Robertson, a youth leader.

A driver passing by captured video of the the mangled church's van.

Citizens stopped to help the two adults and seven kids, ages from 5 to 17 years old, while they were lying on the ground.

Luckily, everyone was alive.

Not long before the crash, the same van got a flat tire.  Church leaders changed it and moved on, but it was a problem with a different tire that caused the rollover.

"The tire blew out and the driver slowly tried to get to the side and because we already had a spare tire on there, then van couldn't handle it. It went up the embankment then it rolled," said Robertson.

Robertson says her 5-year-old daughter was in the van at the time of the crash.

The little girl has her mother's number memorized, so she was able to tell it to her rescuer.

"A stranger that came up on the accident first got her out and she said 'my mom lives in Oklahoma City and her phone number is...,' and she told him my phone number and was able to call and give us updates," said Robertson.

The kids spent months raising money to go to camp, by selling jewelry, baked goods and hosting car washes.

"They didn't care about the van, they didn't care about their stuff. They just said, 'we just need to tell people what God did,'" said Robertson.

Robertson said her church community is relying on prayer and faith to get them through this time.

"My heart is so full of the love that the kids are sharing. They were just so blessed to be alive," said Robertson.
