TULSA, Okla. – An Oklahoma man was arrested after allegedly coming up with a creative excuse to get the password of a stolen computer.

Investigators say Frank Sudduth, 23, stole jewelry and a laptop from a neighbor.

They say he later returned to the scene of the crime after discovering the stolen laptop required a password.

According to KJRH, the victim says Sudduth was wearing a police t-shirt, and said he was a security officer investigating the case.

Sudduth told the victim he needed the password so that he could file a report and turn it in to the management office.

The victim told police she started receiving increasingly aggressive text messages from Sudduth so she contacted local police.

Sudduth was arrested a short time later for second degree burglary and impersonating an officer.
