TULSA, Okla. – An Oklahoma man is dead after troopers say he jumped from a moving vehicle on Sunday.

Early Sunday morning, authorities were called to U.S. 75 just south of Glenpool after learning about a man who was critically injured.

According to the report, troopers say a 2005 Dodge Dakota pickup truck was heading southbound on U.S. 75 when they say 23-year-old Taylor Monday jumped from the truck.

The report did not give a reason for why he jumped.

Authorities say he hit his head on the roadway and was lifeflighted to a nearby hospital.

Tragically, he died from his injuries on Monday evening.
