TURLOCK, Calif. – An Oklahoma police officer has been arrested after allegedly abducting a teen in California.

The Turlock Police Department began looking into the disappearance of 15-year-old Alexis Odisho.

Odisho was reported missing after she visited family in Turlock. However, officials believe she left voluntarily.

After a 22 hour investigation, officers in Las Vegas arrested Daniel Boone Morgan II on Wednesday morning, according to the Modesto Bee.

Morgan is on administrative leave from the Kiowa Police Department for unknown reasons.

According to court records, Morgan was hired by the police department in April of 2015.

Police say Odisho was found safe and will be reunited with her family.
