TULSA, Okla. – A member of a prison gang has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for racketeering and conspiracy to possess and distribute methamphetamine while he was in prison.
Court records show Anthony Ramon Hall, 40, was sentenced Friday in federal court in Tulsa.
Hall pleaded guilty in June 2015 to the charges. He admitted to using a cellphone smuggled into prison to coordinate the delivery and sale of methamphetamine by members of the Universal Aryan Brotherhood prison gang who were both in and out of prison, and having the profits sent to him while he was in prison.
Hall was serving a 10-year sentence at the time for weapons convictions. He was released from that sentence in 2014.
