AMARILLO, Texas – A popular ‘street outlaw’ is recovering after a terrifying crash in Texas.

‘Daddy Dave’ is known as a popular Oklahoma street racer on the show ‘Street Outlaws.’

On Saturday, Dave took his Chevy to the Amarillo Dragway in Texas for a no prep race.

Just seconds after leaving the line, Dave’s car leaned to the right before making a hard left turn into the wall.

The car rolled several times before finally coming to a rest on its wheels.

Dave was rushed to the hospital, where doctors determined he has a serious concussion and a bruised lung, according to a post by his wife.
