Oklahoma teen shot and killed during home invasion, police searching for suspect

SHAWNEE, Okla. – Shawnee police are searching for a man they say shot and killed a 17-year-old during a home invasion.

Police say there was a home invasion in the 2200 block of North Aydelotte in Shawnee.

Police say 17-year-old Karter Alderman was shot in the head and died from his injuries.

Witnesses told police they saw a black male drive away in a white SUV.

According to the Shawnee News Star, Alderman was reportedly staying at the home, but did not reside there.
