ENID, Okla. — Authorities have a confession from the woman who attempted to rob a Happy Hour Liquor store on Jan. 28.

The Enid Police Department received a tip that Anna Bolin, 49, attempted the robbery at the 1100 block of E. Broadway last month. Investigator Casey Von Schriltz got information that Bolin was arrested Tuesday, and was being held at the Garfield County Detention Center.

Von Schriltz contacted the suspect, and that’s when Bolin confessed to attempting the robbery, saying it was because she needed money.

Bolin was charged with Attempted Armed Robbery.
