OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoman is $2 million richer after claiming a winning Powerball ticket.

The winner successfully matched five of five white balls, which add up to a $1 million prize on Dec. 20. The winner also selected the Power Play option, which doubled the prize to $2 million.

The prize was recently claimed by a trust.

After taxes, the winner will walk away with $1.42 million.

The Oklahoma Lottery says the winning ticket was purchased at Red Ball Party Shop in Shawnee.
