OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Harn Homestead has a place in the hearts of many across the state.

From visiting as a child to later taking your own children to visit, memories at the museum are part of what it means to be an Oklahoman.

One of the fond memories may have taken place at Harn Homestead’s popular Territorial Christmas.

The annual event includes tours, hayrides, holiday crafts and even a visit with Santa.

Unfortunately, this year’s Territorial Christmas is at the risk of being canceled.

Due to Oklahoma’s recent ice storms, the museum has encountered a lot of damage.

Trees and power lines have taken over the Harn House.

Now, Harn Homestead is in need of volunteers to save Christmas.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, and cleanup is crucial before then for it to go on as planned.

If you are interested in volunteering to help save the treasured Oklahoma tradition, call 405-235-4058 or email info@harnhomestead.com.
