OKLAHOMA CITY – One man was injured in a house fire in N.W. Oklahoma City Tuesday morning.

Fire crews say a two-story garage apartment in the 1100 block of N. Miller caught fire around 9:22 a.m.

When fire fighters arrived on scene, flames were showing from the second story.

Officials say one occupant had made it outside, but was transported to the hospital with burn injuries to his arms and legs.

The occupant told fire crews that he was the only person in the apartment at the time of the fire.

Neighbors reportedly told fire crews they heard “an explosion” before the fire started.

Officials are investigating what may have caused the fire.
