We have one more hot and breezy day before rain chances increase statewide.

Highs today will reach the 80s and 90s under partly to mostly cloudy skies with a breezy south wind.

Showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening in northwestern Oklahoma, a few could be strong.

Moisture will continue to stream back into the Sooner state tomorrow dropping back the temperatures a few degrees and making it feel muggy.

There will be a better chance for showers and thunderstorms as that low moves closer to the state.

Expect waves of showers and thunderstorms over the western half of Oklahoma tomorrow and Saturday.

More waves of rainfall will impact central Oklahoma Sunday and Monday.

Most of the rainfall will shift into eastern Oklahoma by Tuesday afternoon.

Sunday through Tuesday morning could be a complete washout for central Oklahoma.

This storm system has the potential to dump some high rain totals over areas that desperately need it.

Stay tuned as we follow the wet weather for Memorial Day weekend.
