One person dead after car swept off road by flood waters

LINCOLN COUNTY, Okla. – One person is dead after a car was swept off the road by flood waters in Lincoln County.

Officials say a vehicle with three people inside was swept off the roadway by flood waters near 910 Road and 3500 Road.

When the three people exited the vehicle, it was swept into a drainage culvert.

One of the passengers was pinned in the flood waters and drowned.

Two other occupants were transported to the hospital where they are expected to be treated and released

Authorities are investigating.
