One woman injured in Oklahoma City shooting

OKLAHOMA CITY -  Police were called to the scene of a reported shooting in southeast Oklahoma City on Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, emergency crews were called to a reported shooting near Pole Rd. and south of I-240, close to the OG&E distribution yard.

Investigators say one woman has been injured in the shooting, and she was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The woman is recovering after being shot in the face and the gunman is still on the run.

News4 was told police talked to the victim before she was taken to the hospital.

Police also detained a man at the scene in handcuffs, but later released him.

News4 reached out to several people who were nearby, but they told us they did not see or hear anything when the shooting happened.
