SEMINOLE,Okla. — Two people were found dead on a rural road behind a Wal-Mart.

The bodies were found this morning in Seminole, inside an SUV.

The discovery has rocked this small town of about seven thousand.

“I seen a few police cars, driving this way and that way. I was wondering what was going on and then I seen the helicopter,” Mark Florie said.

Florie was fishing in his grandfather’s pond, just feet away from where the bodies were found.

“I have no clue of anything, we just pulled up, but I heard two persons (sic) dead,” Florie says.

He wasn’t here at 7:30 a.m., when the bodies were discovered.  But, he saw the aftermath of investigators gathering evidence.

“Officer arrived, peered inside the vehicle, found two deceased individuals, a male and female,” Jessica Brown with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigators says.

We now know those people are 30-year-old Summer Gokey and 26-year-old Joseph Bounds.

Investigators are not telling us where the incident happened, but we followed these tire tracks to off Harvey Road to where it looks like the Trailblazer was stuck in the mud.

“Injuries to the bodies indicate a homicide to us,  we have no reason to believe it`s anything other than a homicide at this point and time,” Brown said.

Our cameras found the aftermath of a gruesome scene.

“We don’t want to release how we believe they died, because only officials and the suspect or suspects know that information, so we’re holding onto that right now,” Brown says.

“It’s pretty scary, hopefully whoever done that is caught and justice is served,” Florie said.

OSBI is still working to find a suspect.
