STILLWATER, Okla.– Oklahoma State University officials sent engineers to check out Boone Pickens Stadium after Saturday morning’s large 5.6 Magnitude earthquake.

The quake was centered near Pawnee and felt as far away as Kansas and Dallas.

Since thousands of people  are expected to start streaming in for the football game, engineers went to check the structure.

OSU officials tell KFOR the stadium has been thoroughly checked and is ready for fans to arrive.

Game time is set for 2:30 p.m.
