STILLWATER, Okla. — OSU President Burns Hargis delivered a message to all those affected by the parade tragedy.

In the video, Hargis mentions those who lost their lives in the incident, and says prayers are with their families.

“Our hearts remain heavy… We mourn for the four who lost their lives.”

He also thanks the men and women who helped, as well as those who continue to help the victims from Saturday.

“That’s the character of the Oklahoma State family, and of all Oklahomans.”

The University’s president concludes the video with an uplifting of the community.

“As we’ve done before, the Oklahoma State family and the Stillwater community will come together, will support each other, and find comfort and strength and the courage to move forward.”
