UPDATE: Power has been restored to over 4,000 customers

NORMAN, Okla. –  Shortly before 4 a.m. more than 4,000 OG&E customers in Norman lost power.

According to Norman Police, the outage happened after a transformer blew on the southeast side of town.

Customers were without power for just under two hours.
