Over a dozen couples have cashed-in on a popular promotion from a local jeweler during this month’s storms.

B.C. Clark Jewelers has made good on its “Pray for Rain” promotion 13 times since the beginning of May- six of them were on May 23 alone.

With the “Pray for Rain” promotion, the jeweler promises to reimburse couples for the cost of their ring (up to $5,000) if it rains or snows an inch or more on their wedding day.

It’s a way to turn Oklahoma’s “temperamental weather into a source of good cheer,” according to the jeweler.

18 lucky couples have gotten their rings paid for so far in 2015.
