LONDON – Many people across the globe were speculating on what the new royal prince would be named but a few were surprised by the final decision.

NBC News is reporting that Kensington Palace announced that the royal couple named the little bundle of joy George Alexander Louis.

His official title will be His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.

Many believed the child would be named Spencer, in honor of Prince William’s mother, Princess Diana.

Betting odds were in favor of the baby being named James, George or Alexander.
