Part of Oklahoma panhandle declared disaster area after severe weather

TEXAS COUNTY – Part of the Oklahoma panhandle is an official disaster area after this weekend’s severe weather.

According to KFDA, four tornadoes and hours of rain left two highways closed and residents without power.

The tornadoes reportedly touched down around Eva and Yarbrough.

Fortunately, there are no reported injuries at this time.

Multiple roadways remain closed until the flooding subsides.
