NEW: Payne County residents no longer under water boil

The boil order for the City of Yale has been lifted, according to officials.

PAYNE COUNTY – Yale city officials said residents in Yale, located in Payne County, should boil their water before using it after E. coli was found.

Health officials said residents should bring drinking water to a full boil for at least one minute before using in cooking, drinking, washing dishes or brushing teeth.

Officials said residents will be notified when the water is safe again.
