With Thanksgiving just around the corner, many parents are already planning on what to buy their little ones for Christmas.

When buying those much-desired toys, you may want to check out the reviews online first.

Parents are warning others about a popular new toy that they say is wreaking havoc on their children’s hair.

“Bunchems,” which are brightly colored balls about the size of a quarter are on a lot of kids’ wish lists this year.

In fact, it even made it on Target’s top holiday gifts list.

Each packet contains 370 Bunchems, an instruction manual and 36 accessories.

The toys are meant to stack together and build a creation.

However, a review on Amazon is getting  a lot of attention and has even inspired several parents to return the toy.

Warning: Some language in this review may not be appropriate for all audiences.

“Horrible, horrible, horrible toy for kids. I just spend the last TWO AND A HALF hours (absolutely, 100 percent not an exaggeration) attempting to remove 14 of these bastard balls out of my daughter’s hair. Buy this toy for someone if you hate them or their child. They are the most incredible choking hazards on the planet. They bring pain and misery, tears, fighting, broken and ripped hair, and questions of one’s sanity in handling life in general. I can’t feel my arms now after attempting to pull this spawn from hell “toy” that matted itself into her hair like nothing ever witnessed before. The photo is her hair with conditioner coating the balls in what proved to be an almost fruitless effort to [extract] the evil. If you wish to proceed, good luck,” the review by Ethan Benoit read.

Several parents replied to the thread, adding that they’ve had a similar experience.

Following the string of complaints, the company released a video on how to remove hair conditioner or vegetable oil.
