An Arizona auction house is putting Wyatt Earp’s gun on the auction block.

J. Levine Auction and Appraisals in Scottsdale selling to the highest bidder items said to have belonged to the legendary Wild West gunslinger.

The auction house owner said the collection includes Wyatt Earp’s shotgun and the gun he used at the OK Corral gunfight.

The items came from author Glenn Boyer’s estate.

Some Earp historians has cast doubt on the credibility of Boyer’s writings on Earp and the authenticity of his Earp collection.

The serial number on the Corral gun was destroyed.

The bidding starts April 17.
