Plane crash in Pushmataha County

PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, Okla. – Police report a Texas man is dead after crashing his plane in Pushmataha County.

Authorities found the 1968, single engine, Cessna in a heavily wooded area about six miles S.W. of Sardis Lake this morning.

Officials say, they were contacted when 54-year-old Stephen Mark Hardin or Terrell, Texas didn’t arrive after taking off from Tahlequah yesterday.
