LOS ANGELES – If you plan on flying this summer, you may be paying more if you use one airline.

On Monday, Frontier Airlines started charging passengers $20 to $50 to carry on a bag and $3 to $15 to preselect a seat.

In the past, those fees were waived for economy passengers who booked through the company’s website.

According to the LA Times, Frontier says it has cut its lowest fares by an average of 12 percent by charging fees for services that were previously included in the full price of tickets.
