MIDWEST CITY, Okla.- Two men have been arrested in connection to the deadly shooting that took place on the 100 block of West Michael Drive just before 2p.m. Friday afternoon.

Detectives located and interviewed the owner of the red Pontiac Grand Am identified by witnesses.

Authorities learned that Morttellus Dashown Hill, 19, and Christopher Michael Johnson Jr, 19, both of Oklahoma City, were responsible for shooting of 16-year-old victim, Keandre Jamel Bowser.

Johnson was arrested last night and Hill early this morning after recovering the car near the Oklahoma City Zoo.

Hill has been charged with Murder in the First Degree and given no bond.

Johnson has been charged with Assessor to Commit a Felony after the Fact and given a 10,000 dollar bond.

“This homicide is not a reflection of our city but an indictment on our society,” Chief Brandon Clabes said. “Now, instead of resolving disputes in a civil manner these young adults resort to violence which is a direct correlation on how they are raised without character qualities or respect for life. We continue to talk about justice reform but it all starts with the family unit, if we don’t demand parents take responsibility in raising their children correctly we will never win the war on violent crime and senseless deaths. It is very frustrating for law enforcement."
