Police: Bicyclist hit by truck during metro morning commute

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Police are investigating after a man on a bicycle was hit by a truck Friday morning.

It happened around 7:15 a.m. on W. Memorial Road westbound and N. Western Ave.

Police say a man riding a bicycle was going northbound on Western when he was struck by a panel truck.

Officers say the driver is cooperating and talking with police.

According to police officers at the scene, the bicyclist is talking and alert.
