Police car crashes while following suspect through OKC, one in custody

OKLAHOMA CITY – One person was taken into custody after a short chase that led officers through northwest Oklahoma City.

Authorities tried to pull over a vehicle shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Officials say the driver led authorities on a short chase, which ended near N.W. 25th St. and Lee.

However, we’re told a police car crashed near N.W. 30th St. and Western.

At this time, we know that one person was taken into custody.

No word on any specific charges or any injuries at this time.
