OKLAHOMA CITY — Police are investigating a homicide after a body was discovered inside a metro home Sunday night. Officers were called to a house near the 7900 block of S. McKinley on a burglary call.

When they arrived, police found the man dead inside.

Investigators say there were several people home at the time.

“It has been a real good neighborhood all these years. I've never seen anything like this happen before, or at least around here,” one neighbor said.

The victim is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-twenties.

Investigators have not released the victim's identity.

Police are expected to release new information Tuesday morning.
