NORMAN, Okla. – Authorities have identified a man who died after being hit by a train in Norman earlier this month.

On Sept. 12, first responders were called to the area of Constitution and Classen Blvd. after learning that a pedestrian was hit by a train.

On Monday, the Norman Police Department announced that the victim has been identified as 18-year-old Isaac Lee Tevault.

Tevault, who was a Norman resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say Tevault was hit after walking in front of the train at some point in between Lindsey St. and Constitution St.

However, the incident remains under investigation.
