Oklahoma City police investigating homicide after woman shot, killed

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are investigating a deadly shooting in northeast Oklahoma City.

Authorities responded to the scene at around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday near NE 16th and Martin Luther King.

Police tell News 4 someone fired shots in the street, striking a woman in the chest.

The woman then knocked on the door of a house but died on the front porch of the home.

A second shooting victim arrived at the hospital shortly after and was treated then released for a gunshot wound.

There is no suspect information at this time.

The victim will be identified once next-of-kin has been notified.

The incident remains under investigation.
