OKLAHOMA CITY - A car jacking in Warr Acres led to a high-speed chase when a Warr Acres police officer spotted the stolen car.

While pursing the silver Nissan Altima, officers believe someone in the car thew a handgun out of the car window.

The chase ended near southwest 29th and Portland, where authorities took three adult males into custody.

NewsChannel 4 spoke with a mother of one of the suspects.

She said her son called her during the middle of the chase and said he was in a messed up situation.

The mother also said she could hear police arresting and beating her son.

However, police say they have dashcam video that shows otherwise.

Authorities say the men were cooperative and did not even try to resist arrest.  They were simply handcuffed.

At this time, police have not released the identities of the men taken into custody.
