OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man is facing an array of charges after he became upset with his neighbor’s child and decided to take action.

On Sunday, police received a call from a woman saying a black man without a shirt ran into her home and spanked her child.

When officers arrived, they took 47-year-old Willie Peevy into custody.

According to the arrest affidavit, Peevy told police that he became upset with his neighbor’s child after the 7-year-old began bouncing a ball off of his window.

The victim told police Peevy started spanking her child. When she told him to get away from her child, the victim claimed Peevy started to choke her.

Peevy was arrested for first-degree burglary, child abuse, two counts of assault and battery and resisting arrest.
