SHAWNEE, Okla. – A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of suspects in a violent home invasion that injured a Shawnee woman.

71-year-old Aline Smith says she woke up to find two strangers in her bedroom, demanding money.

When she tried to get away from the men, they allegedly held her down and repeatedly kicked her in the face and stomach.

Officials say Smith’s injuries were so severe that she spent days recovering in the hospital from broken facial bones and a brain bleed.

Shawnee Police say they have some leads, but they are sure someone knows something that will lead to an arrest.

If you have any information, please call (405)273-0989.
