OKLAHOMA CITY – A 44-year-old Oklahoma City man is facing charges after he allegedly beat his elderly mother.

On Thursday, officers were called to a car wash along N.W. 23rd St. after a witness said a man was yelling at an elderly female.

When police arrived, they say they saw the woman bleeding from her nose and mouth.

The arrest affidavit also said she had blood on the front of her shirt.

According to the arrest affidavit, the 80-year-old victim told officers the man was her son, with whom she lived.

She said he “did nothing to help her out and does not have a job.”

The victim said her son “started punching her because they got in an argument because she said she wouldn’t give him any money,” the report states.

The victim said her son, who was identified as 44-year-old Andrew Chaballa, punched and slapped her.

She was eventually taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Chaballa was arrested for assault and battery, aggravated assault and battery and domestic assault and battery.
