OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police say one man is in custody after allegedly shooting his son on Thursday morning.

Police were called to a shooting near N.W. 67th St. and Harvey, just after 5 a.m. on Thursday.

When they arrived on the scene, investigators learned that the alleged suspect shot his son before running from the scene.

On Thursday afternoon, officials say 53-year-old Curtis Cavner turned himself in for the shooting.

After being interviewed by detectives, Cavner was arrested on a complaint of domestic assault with a deadly weapon.
