Police are searching for a man involved in robbing a south Oklahoma City bank.

The robbery occurred at 1:20 p.m. Saturday at MidFirst Bank, 7500 S Western.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. —

Police are searching for a man involved in robbing a south Oklahoma City bank.

The robbery occurred at 1:20 p.m. Saturday at MidFirst Bank, 7500 S Western.

The man walked into the location and handed the bank employee a note demanding money, officials said.

The man threatened to shoot employees but no gun was seen, officials said.

The suspect was described as an African-American man in his late 50s, salt and pepper gray hair, hazel eyes, around 6-foot tall and weighing 180 pounds. The suspect was seen wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt with dark gray sleeves, gray jeans and dark tennis shoes, officials said.

The suspect was last seen leaving the bank and traveling east on foot, officials said.
