Police searching for man who robbed N.W. Oklahoma City bank

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police and FBI agents are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed an Oklahoma City bank on Friday morning.

Shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday, authorities were called to the Bank of the West, located near Penn Square Mall, after getting a report of an armed robbery.

Officers say witnesses described the suspect as a black male wearing a large coat and sunglasses.

Authorities say the man was last seen driving away in a green Chevy Malibu.

Drivers may need to avoid the area around Pennsylvania Ave. and N.W. Expressway while officers investigate the crime.
