OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police want your help finding a man who may be responsible for thousands of dollars of theft from local Lowe’s hardware stores.

According to police reports, Lowe’s employees said the same man, who they’ve apparently seen before, walked into the store on multiple occasions, grabbed tools and simply walked out, hopping into a silver Chevy Impala and leaving the scene.

On at least two occasions, police said he robbed  the store at 2400 W. Memorial Rd.

“In this case, this suspect just goes in and boldly takes items that he does not pay for,” said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Ashley Peters. “But, what stands out is we have good video, and we hope someone can tell us who this guy is.”

Surveillance cameras captured a man in a black t-shirt walking out of the store with a DeWalt drill under his arm.

“Most of the time, surveillance cameras can be a little gritty, a little digitized,” Peters said. “This picture is very clear, and he’s actually looking directly into the camera.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
