Officials: Shooting now labeled accidental

UPDATE: According to Oklahoma City’s Lt. Clint Teel, authorities are no longer searching for a suspect connected to this afternoon’s shooting.

Just before noon authorities received a phone call from a victim reporting that their house had been broken into.

Once investigators arrived they found that the shooting was accidental.

Authorities have not released any more information at this time.

OKLAHOMA CITY –  Authorities are searching for a shooting suspect in southeast Oklahoma City Saturday afternoon.

Officials said a victim was shot near the 700 block of S.E. 21 St.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released.

Police say the victim has been transported to a nearby hospital.

Authorities have not given a description of the suspect at this time.
