Police searching for suspect in Sapulpa motel homicide

SAPULPA, Okla. — Police are searching for a man they believe is connected to a deadly shooting that happened in Sapulpa Saturday.

Police say a man was shot around 1:30 p.m. at the Rest Inn motel in the 5500 block of W. Skelly.

Officers believe the suspect then carjacked another man and took off.

Sapulpa police are investigating the shooting as a homicide.

Officers say they are searching for 41-year-old Damon Caldwell in connection with the shooting.

They believe he is in a 1996 white Mercury Grand Marquis with Oklahoma license plate 964LNR.
