Deputies searching southwest OKC for 3 suspects, possibly armed, after high-speed chase

OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma deputies are searching for three alleged suspects who may be armed.

Rockwood Elementary is on lockdown as officers search for the suspects who may be armed.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Friday, deputies with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office attempted to pull over a black Cadillac Escalade
with an expired tag on the city's southwest side.

However, the driver took off at a high rate of speed and led deputies on a chase.

Deputies say they say 4 people inside the SUV and during the pursuit 3 passengers jumped out of the moving vehicle.

One deputies says one of the suspects who jumped out was holding a 12-gauge shotgun, and a .357 revolver.

According to deputies, that man is Kevin Dixson, 29.

Dixson was arrested and taken into custody.

Authorities say the other 2 people who bailed and the driver of the SUV were all able to get away.

The Cadillac was recovered a short time later in the area of SW 25th and S. Brookline.
