Police: ‘Smash and Grab’ thieves attempt to raid drug store

CHICKASHA, Okla. – Authorities are investigating an attempted “Smash and Grab” burglary at the Medicine Shoppe Drug store on 4th street that occurred Thursday morning.

Officers responded around 6:30 a.m. in response to an alarm call.

Investigators were able to determine that two subjects came into the building after throwing a rock through the window of the front door.

One suspect is described as a slender black male who was possibly wearing a red jacket with dark sleeves with white lettering on the back that says “Truck Fit”, along with white shoes with black soles.

The second subject is described as a black male having a large build wearing a jacket, possibly wearing a white bandana across his face, dark pants, dark hat with a red brim, and dark shoes.

Police say the suspects may have taken off in a white car.
