Police: Three Oklahoma teens admitted to ICU after smoking e-cigarette

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Authorities in Tahlequah are trying to determine what sent three teens to the intensive care unit.

According to KOKI, the teens were hanging out at a basketball court when officers found them experiencing seizure-like symptoms.

Authorities say before the seizures started, an adult offered the boys a puff of his e-cigarette.

Police were called after they started showing signs of a medical problem.

Officers say they do not believe the e-cigarette contained nicotine oil. Instead, they suspect it contained K-2, a form of synthetic marijuana.

The man who gave the boys the e-cigarette has spoken with police.
