OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are investigating after two juveniles were shot in northwest Oklahoma City.

Officials say it happened at around 3 a.m. Sunday near NW 50th and Brunson.

Police have not released many details but say two juveniles were shot at a home in the area.  One of the victims is in critical condition, the status of the second victim is unknown.

Scott Packham lives a few houses down from where the shooting happened. He says he didn’t hear anything, but that his mom lives right across the street and she heard the whole thing.

“She told me she heard gunshots somewhere around 3:30 a.m. or four o’clock in the morning.  She called the police,” Packham told News 4. “Next thing she knows a car is pulling out of the driveway across the street. Police show up immediately thereafter.”

Packham says he was leaving for church Sunday morning when he saw what was happening. He says this kind of thing ever happens in this neighborhood.

“Not at all. Especially not on a Sunday morning,” Packham said. “Waking up to seeing that when you are expecting just to come out and get your newspaper.”

The incident remains under investigation.
