OKLAHOMA CITY – A woman is facing an array of charges after allegedly trying to hit several people near an Oklahoma City park.
On Aug. 11, officers were called to Route 66 Park after several people reported a woman “acting very erratic” and driving “recklessly.”
Witnesses told police that the driver of a black Nissan was running several vehicles off the road and almost hit other cars.
When officers arrived, they spotted the car and 29-year-old Yiomara Ramirez.
According to the arrest affidavit, Ramirez yelled “b****” out the window as she drove past the officer.
Police say Ramirez was following so closely that her front bumper was almost touching the other car’s rear bumper before she passed it, nearly crashing into several other cars.
When officers were able to stop Ramirez, the report alleges that she began “cussing and screaming” at police while trying to drive away.
Ramirez was arrested on four counts of assault with a deadly weapon, driving under the influence, driving under revocation, failure to keep right of center, straddling lane lines and following too close.
